โthe rooms were bright and clean and the property was in easy walking distance to downtown marblehead. There were bikes available to borrow as well.. All in all a great experienceโ
โHotel is beautifully restored, and rooms were very comfortable. Did find a used contact lens beside bed...not a biggie... beautiful tavern in the basement. My husband and i had a wonderful experience...โ
โI absolutely loved my stay! My dream place in Salem! The kindness of the staff, the cleanliness, the location, the priceโeverything is perfect! I have never slept so well in a bed as the one I had there. Plus, they offer cookies and scones starting at 4 p.m., and delightful morning treats at 9 a.m.! Thereโs limited on-site parking available, as well as another lot not far away. Iโve found my place to stay in Salemโ50/5 stars! I canโt wait to come back, thank you for everything!โ
โTwo things bothered me - because of the barn style door to the bathroom, your roommate can See and Hear you going to the bathroom. Also the doors to the rooms are tremendously heavy, which means they slam every time someone goes in or out of their room. Other than that, the hotel was great. โ

โAbsolutely love this hotel and this will be my first choice when I return to Salem next time! The staff was AMAZING! So sweet, helpful and just lovely. Love the texting service - so attentive and easy! Loved my room and the location of the hotel was PERFECTION! Only 2 wishes for next time - PLEASE get ice makers and PLEASE upgrade the TV options for Youtube, Netflix, etc. But that's it. otherwise, a perfect stay!!!!!โ

There is no airport shuttle, even though Hotels.com says there is. Staff did schedule a taxi for us, which arrived on time with a good driver.โ
โGreat stay! The staff are so kind and helpful. I got in very late Saturday night after 36 grueling hours of travel hell, and had to get last-minute supplies and copies for a work stint. They received packages for me and made copies quickly. Don't know what I would've done without them, given that it was Sunday and not much was open! The room was fine (though very noisy from neighboring rooms). Great breakfast included. Highly recommend.โ
