โSuper quaint, peaceful, idyllic, historic Inn! Awesome location right in the middle of the Marblehead Historic District. We walked less than 5 min to dinner at The Landing and then to drinks at Maddieโs Sail Loft. Highly recommend! โ
โThe grounds and lobby are fantastic. On-site restaurant was great. Room was spacious and clean - only minor complaints were that there is no light in the shower and no fan (or so weak of one we couldnโt hear it) in the bathroom, but everything else was perfect. Easy walk to everything in Salem. Staff was very friendly and helpful. โ
โWe had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Salem. So clean, comfortable and beautiful! We didnโt get to try the rooftop restaurant because it rained most of our visit, but the Counter on the first floor was very nice. Staff went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. We will definitely stay here again!โ
โStayed 1 night before a big road trip. Staff was great. Plug/USB strip next to bed not working so they changed our room. Double queen bed room super comfortable. Beds great, pillows soft and fluffy. Walk in shower was really convenient. Good lighting in the bathroom. Definitely recommend if you need a comfortable hotel near Logan Airport. Easy parking that was free. Coffee/tea/water station 24 hours in lobby. Definitely would stay again. โ

โThe hotel clerk who checked us in was marvelous... Unfortunately I did not pay attention to her name. Honest and sincere I must say. Our room was fine. No frills but it was clean enough and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately it was a very noisy night... doors opening and shutting in the hallway all night long. That in itself made me very uncomfortable and a bit nervous. I didn't know what was going on... Still don't... No I suppose being that close to Logan it could have just been people...
โComfortable room, friendly staff and easy to navigate. The decor is a little too minimalist for my taste; regional paintings / pictures of the area, a few over sized ornaments would be nice. Overall, a good property.โ
โWe loved staying in a house built in the 1600s! It was like getting to sleep in a museum rather than a hotel.
Also - the Continental Breakfast was more than we expected! Beyond a few kinds of breakfast bread and a toaster, there was also whipped cream cheese, hard-boiled eggs, and a couple types of fresh fruit. We were very pleased.
There were only a couple drawbacks (which would NOT keep me from recommending the experience):
