"Clean room"

"The room looked clean but there was a weird smell to it. I can't pinpoint what it was. Staff is very nice. You can tell that it's an old building. Overall it's good for the price you pay and it's close to the Boardwalk "

"The location is the best part of this hotel. Across the street from the beach & boardwalk & walkable distance to the wharf. If you just want a room to crash in after a long day, this is your place. If you want to a place to feel like you’re a special guest, not it! Very basic, no extras, parking is challenging & $25 per day. Front desk is minimally staffed. I will not stay here again."

"No free breakfast. Every thing else was nice we enjoyed our stay. Room were nice and clean. I enjoyed the shower and body wash. The room was big. Iam definitely coming back in the future."

"This place has really changed over the last few years. I used to love it. Not as friendly. Definitely not as clean. And there are hackers. DONT do any computer work there. I’ve been hacked twice while staying. Won’t stay there anymore "

"Was debating between giving it a 2 star or a 3 star but had to give it a two. It wasn't all that clean. The tub was dirty, there was stuff on the shower curtain, hair all around in the floor and one long one in the towel, there was a big hole punched into the wall in the bathroom and there was no vent fan so every-time you take a shower the entire hotel room gets “moist.” The TV disconnected the last day we were there for some reason. Also, THERE IS NO MICROWAVE! Usually a deal breaker for me, but if you’re thinking to use the mini fridge and then warm something up some leftovers, you can’t. One of the beds was slanted which made sleeping a bit difficult. The rooms are totally not sound proof as we could hear our neighbors’ nighttime activities. I will say however that they have live music all weekend at the bar there and you can’t hear it from the room unless you open the window. They have a little “store” for basic goods, but the hours weren’t reliable. Went there after 9am on a Monday and the doors were locked and no one was in the office either though someone was seen walking around the side of the building, but not sure if this was a staff person or not. All in all, I gave this a 2 star because it is historic and you can stay here without high expectations. I wouldn’t stay here again though. Might come by in the future to eat at the diner and check out the Brook Room if it, the pool, and the mermaid room ever finish getting renovated to check them out too."

"Clean corner room. Angel even had a phone charger I could temporarily borrow. Nice breakfast and pool. Walking distance to food and easy freeway access"

"The check in process was horrible arrived at the location earlier than anticipated was told the room would not be ready until 3:00 pm which was ok since I arrived early. Came back around 3:15-3:30 pm. only to be told the room was still not ready and the hotel was over booked. I explained I had event I need to attend at 5:30 pm and needed to shower and change this event. The front desk person said he could not assist me due to the room would not be ready until 5:00 pm. He (Morgan) said my room had been giving away at this point and he could cancel my room, and I could find other accommodations. after going back and forward with this person explaining this was unacceptable and I had booked this room weeks in advance through Expedia I would have to contact Expedia for further because this was a third party booking. I finally got into my suite around 4:30-4:45. Again, which was unacceptable I was speaking at. I was disappointed in the hospitality/customer service I received. "
