Hotel Syrene

"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Syrene! The location on Via Camerelle is fantastic, right in the heart of Capri and close to everything. The hotel was very clean, the staff were extremely helpful, and a special thank you to Janaka, the porter, who was wonderful with our luggage. Our sea-view room had an amazing view, and even the pool view from our other room was lovely. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and there were plenty of towels available. The only downside is the stair access to the hotel entrance, and getting there from the Capri town center with luggage involves a fairly long walk while pulling your bags. Thankfully, the hotel told us about their porter service, and the porter met us right outside the ferry arrival area and took our luggage to the hotel, which made everything so much easier. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back!"

"Everything about this place was amazing. The staff the care they take to make everything special.we love sitting out on the huge terrace overlooking the garden with a hot tub that was very nice to use. The location of the hotel made for a very quiet sleep as well as the rooms themselves. We did not hear any neighbors. It was only a short walk to the main shopping areas and chairlift. I definitely highly recommend this place!"

"The location of the hotel was great with fantastic views and a beach nearby, although this was always very busy. Our room was described as a Junior Suite but in effect was just a large room. It was clean and the bathroom was good and spacious. It was extremely noisy from early morning to late night with constant banging and moving of the furniture directly above. I would not recommend rooms in the 540s range for this reason. The shuttle service was very good and the staff friendly. The reception staff were mostly good although one a little curt. The food in the restaurant was good and lots of choice for breakfast. The service in the restaurant was good for the first two nights with one particular staff member very efficient yet also cheerful and very helpful. The night he was not there was terrible being slow, people asking when their food would come, and our bill was incorrect. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay at the hotel but, with the issues above , would try somewhere else should we return"

"We stayed at Capri Inn from September 16–19 and overall really enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent, especially being so close to Marina Grande and the ferry port. It made arriving with luggage and taking our boat trip around Capri very convenient. It was also easy to get to Capri Town using the funicular. The views are absolutely beautiful. Waking up and looking out over the water was one of the highlights of our stay. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed starting our mornings with breakfast and the beautiful sea views. The staff was absolutely great — very friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. Whenever we had a question or needed something, they were happy to assist us. Their hospitality definitely made our stay more enjoyable. The only thing that really spoiled an otherwise wonderful stay was the pillows. Unfortunately, they were extremely uncomfortable and made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. We really hope the hotel considers upgrading the pillows or offering guests a choice of different types. Other than the pillow issue, we had a great three-night stay. Capri Inn has a fantastic location, gorgeous views, a relaxing atmosphere, and wonderful staff. With better pillows, our stay would have been excellent. We would definitely consider staying here again!"

"It was an amazing experience - whilst we had some minor issues, they were all resolved promptly. The concierge helped skip queues for taxi’s, breakfast was on point - nothing was too small of an ask. ZUMA rooftop was epic and service in general was fabulous!"

"The staff at the hotel were very professional and accommodating. The property was very clean and the food was delicious. Special thanks to Lucia at the front desk who was exceptional. She was very pleasant, professional and assisted us with making reservations as well as with room accommodations. I would highly recommend this hotel especially since the staff made our stay very enjoyable. We look forward to returning. Christine Capobianco"
