Top Carson Valley Hotel Reviews
Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe
10/10 Excellent
"I used to stay at this hotel property a bit back when it was an Embassy Suites. First time staying as a Margaritaville. I love what they have done with the updates. They have literally brightened up the hotel and made it a tropical oasis in the middle of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Live music on the weekends, and family focused movies in the indoor pool at night. I truly look forward to my next stay. My *only* critique of the place is they appear to still have older HVAC units in the rooms that are a bit loud and clunky for my taste (at least my room's was loud). For that, I rate the place 4.5 out of 5 stars"
Marriott's Timber Lodge

"Clean room, in a good location. 10 minutes walk to the beach. Well maintained kitchen with all amenities. Fun property to be on."

"We had a one night business trip. The room was old, but clean. Bathroom counters were really low."
Bally’s Lake Tahoe Casino Resort
8/10 Good
"Stayed for one night. It’s a good hotel and casino, nothing crazy. Definitely could be cleaner in the rooms but nothing that ruined my stay. I’d come back."
Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino
8/10 Good
"This is a nice hotel, but the bed was so soft that it sank when you sit/lie down (I am 105 lbs); causing sleepless night with back pain. The drain in the shower was partially clogged, I have to stop running the water intermittently to let it drain. This maybe an isolated incident to this one room. The view from the room was beautiful ! Overall a good trip."
