"I recently stayed at the Comfort Inn Knoxville Kingston Pike and unfortunately had a disappointing experience.
The rooms did not appear to be properly cleaned. The shower curtain had many visible spots, the carpets were buckling and smelled stale, and there was mold and peeling paint on much of the bathroom furniture and even on the bathroom door in Room 226. Overall, the condition of the hotel and room felt quite neglected.
We also had issues right from check-in. The first room we were given did not match our reservation it only had one bed and no sofa bed. We had to be relocated to another room that actually fit what we booked around 11pm.
Once settled, the room was missing basic essentials. We had to request extra towels, blankets, pillows, and additional bedding because none of it was adequately provided for the sofa bed.
Another concern was the housekeeping staff. They were not in uniform and appeared unprofessional or as if they walked in from the street, which made us uncomfortable enough to keep the do not disturb sign on the door throughout our stay as we didn't want them.in our room.
The only positive part of the experience was the breakfast. It was good with many options and the breakfast staff member woman was very kind and welcoming.and kept the area clean and stocked.
Overall, I would not recommend staying here based on our experience."
