"I recently stayed at the Comfort Inn Knoxville Kingston Pike and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The rooms did not appear to be properly cleaned. The shower curtain had many visible spots, the carpets were buckling and smelled stale, and there was mold and peeling paint on much of the bathroom furniture and even on the bathroom door in Room 226. Overall, the condition of the hotel and room felt quite neglected. We also had issues right from check-in. The first room we were given did not match our reservation it only had one bed and no sofa bed. We had to be relocated to another room that actually fit what we booked around 11pm. Once settled, the room was missing basic essentials. We had to request extra towels, blankets, pillows, and additional bedding because none of it was adequately provided for the sofa bed. Another concern was the housekeeping staff. They were not in uniform and appeared unprofessional or as if they walked in from the street, which made us uncomfortable enough to keep the do not disturb sign on the door throughout our stay as we didn't want them.in our room. The only positive part of the experience was the breakfast. It was good with many options and the breakfast staff member woman was very kind and welcoming.and kept the area clean and stocked. Overall, I would not recommend staying here based on our experience."

"Staff was very polite and efficient. Check in was very easy. Parking was very convenient to our room. Wonderful bed and all units come with mini fridges and microwaves. It is an outside facing door so there is noise from outside during the night but overall it was worth the money we paid."

"I personally will not be back to this property. It is a nonsmoking property and yet the entire place reeked of cigarettes. From the moment you walk into the lobby it smells like cigarettes, the elevator, and hallways too. The staff were friendly and that was the only redeeming quality of the place. We found old food that wasn’t ours in the fridge. The property is run down and needs some serious updates. The AC hardly works and the tv stopped working our first night there. The shower pressure was the same as a water hose. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were rock hard."

"Bathrooms have a separate water closet (should be required in all hotels). Breakfast buffet was OK. Good selection. The front desk made this stay. Blaise went out of his way to help us with the reservation: he turned 2 separate one night reservations with diffferent rooms (all that was available) into a contiguous stay in one room. And he was professional and courteous each time we saw him over the weekend. "

"A little strange being 2 Hotels in one (Laquinta and Hawthorn Extended Stay) didn’t cause any issues, just a little strange. Not a lot right around the Hotel, but plenty a couple miles away. This hotel sits in same parking lot as a Red Roof Inn (which looked pretty run down)"

"Breakfast was excellent and well stocked. The room was clean and comfortable. Every member of the staff we encountered were fabulous including JC in the lobby bar who was very busy but still managed to make us feel like the only customers. "
