“Don’t let the outside fool you. Our room along with the lobby looked newly renovated and was very nice. Only complaints would be there was an odor in our bathroom that was a bit unpleasant and if you dislike a train going by (which I didn’t notice while I was sleeping) you may have an issue. Otherwise it was very nice. A great deal for the price!”

“The owners were very nice. This is just not a place for senior citizens. The room was very small and hard to get around the bed. The floor was so unlevel, it was difficult to keep your balance at times. The shower was so tiny, it was very difficult to shower.”

“I want to give this quaint hotel five stars. The place is beautiful, the staff are super friendly and helpful and professional! The restaurant was Devine - top notch food and spirits! It’s just that it’s not restful. We were up until the staff were done for the night, then other guests filtered in making their own racket. It’s an old house - so it’s truly not meant or designed to be sound-proof. Outside of the disruptions, this was a fantastic stay!”
