"We have nothing but good things to say about our stay at this hotel (our first). Parking was a little clunky but the hotel is super clean, our room comfortable and quiet, and we couldn't beat the peaceful surroundings. While we prefer to stay at hotels that offer a hot breakfast we would not hesitate to stay at this hotel our next time in Newport."

"Overall, we had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The game room was well-equipped and spacious, featuring a ping pong table and vintage game machines that we enjoyed playing for free. The front desk area was also quite large. However, we encountered some issues during our stay. One of the front desk staff members was on the phone for an extended period, informing them that some room would not be ready until 5:00 pm. Surprisingly, another staff member gave us our room earlier than expected. The hotel property was quite large, but it appeared to be quite old. The carpeted floors could be upgraded to vinyl flooring to improve the overall appearance. We also noticed that the staff seemed to be disengaged and not enjoying their work. There was an envelope for requesting a tip, but it appeared to be a bit of a scam. We usually leave tips for the staff who take care of our rooms, but when we saw the envelope, it seemed like they were asking for money instead of appreciation. Lastly, we would like to request that they replace the ping pong rackets. They were in poor condition and were tearing the surface."
