Central Tulsa, Tulsa hotel rooms at the Independent

"Rooms are spacious, modern and clean. They had are room ready early! The only thing I would love to see at river spirit is a hot tub, especially during season that the pool is closed. "

"Room was much larger than expected. Comfy bed, nice shower and jetted tub. Didn’t use the tub but definitely thought about it. Nice pool area. Everyone from bartenders, waitstaff and front desk were extremely nice and helpful. Would stay again "

"We loved the space but the ac would not work. So we were miserable all night. Even after following instructions that were posted. But if we could have figured that out, it would have been perfect. "

"The staff was fine but the pool and spa were not working and when we walked by to get to our room, we could see the nasty water sitting there. We went out to breakfast as the food did not look eatable. The sausage was gray in color and the eggs looked like they were sitting in water. I didn’t look any further. The room was clean but old and dated. The switch cover didn’t properly fit in the wall exposing the area behind it. The shower was cold, water didn’t get hot."

"This is an excellent value stay. Rooms are clean and very spacious. Bed is comfy. Lots of pillows. I just wish the sheets were cotton instead of micro-fibre. (Personal preference) There is a decent breakfast that includes fresh fruit. Easy parking. The elevator was small and a little stinky. (Not sure what the smell was) We would deff return for another stay."

"The lobby area and casino had a strong smell of cigarettes, but I was relieved that the hallway to our room and the room itself smelled just fine. The room was attractive, the bathroom had new fixtures and was very clean, and the water pressure was great. With a storm on the way we were glad we could park in the parking structure and walk inside to our room. The staff was friendly and very helpful. "

"The hotel was in immaculate condition. My room was fantastic. The problem occurred when the person who added one day to my stay canceled the Expedia arrangement so my bill was twice what it should have been. I got it corrected, but it took three days."

"The man at the desk I believe he was the manager was rude from the beginning, I even asked him if he was upset and his answer was "no." I'm a single mom trying to take my kids to experience different places, but we all were disappointed with the way we were treated. I made a reservation for 5 people, and we didnt receive a blanket for one of us, so I went back downstairs to ask him for one, and he said "we don't have any blankets." Is the entire hotel all book? Can you check in another room? "No, I can't do that." I asked him to give me his name, he said: Preston, and when I asked for his last name he left upset and refused to give it to me. Breakfast was okay. Entertainment (TV and options) wasn't good at all. I don't recommend this hotel. If I could I'd ask for a refund. "
