“If Hampton I, Fairfield, Holiday Inn, Comfort Inn are all 3 star hotels, this one is 2 1/2 stars, being a little generous. On the pro side beds were clean and comfortable and room was quiet.”

“Clean, nice room!”

“The staff help desk agent was very welcoming and respectful as well. Prior to booking, she had answered all of my questions that I had correctly with great insight. Her name was Mrs. Virginia. The room was very clean and cozy. I really enjoyed how peaceful the stay was. I felt as if I was the only person staying in the hotel. Breakfast was very delicious as well and I love how the dining area and self serve area is set up.”

“Great location and comfortable room. Was in town for the bike trail and the hotel was great to use. First floor in the addition was great for bikes. Just rolled in from outside and straight into room. Great staff. Could use coffee bar early morning.”

“The staff was very helpful with extending the stay. The accessibility room was very good.”

“Very pleased”

“Love the hotel! Was there for my son’s bday and we all had a wonderful time! Will definitely be back”

“Comfortable stay, good breakfast.”

“Room was very clean and to my expectations. But it would have been nice to know that the lobby/first floor was currently under renovation. Also the gym/fitness room can use a little bit of updating.”

“Très bien”

“New facility, very clean with helpful staff. Workout facility well above average. Only drawback is lack of good sit down restaurants nearby. The only two options - Italian and Mexican - very mediocre.”

“I particularly like the 24/7 availability of brewed coffee from the lobby area. I stay between work schedules and usually have to leave before the breakfast hour. Room coffee is never that great so I appreciate this approach. The room is quiet and dark enough for me to sleep well.”

“sumptuous place. classy”

“The hotel was directly off the interstate, which made it very convenient, there were restaurants within a half mile to a mile, and the room was very clean and quiet.”

“Nice and quiet location, very quaint. It’s inside Sweet Briar’s college grounds, which on a busy day requires registration at the entry security gate, no issues there, just a quick checkpoint for college traffic safekeeping we learned. The Inn itself is well maintained for an older building. However age is not an issue, all standard hotel amenities are up to date. While this area is very convenient for the college, our destination was the town of Lynchburg, which worked well for our stay. All in...
