“I was quite surprised by how clean, and well maintained they keep the rooms and facilities. Not a lot of flair, but clean and comfortable. Better condition than some 5 star rated hotels I’ve stayed in. It’s clear the management here cares and is doing a great job. The evening food and drinks, really is inviting, and a value you don’t often find.”

“The Hotel Is Near Kings Dominion, so place is good. I have to pay in Dennis for the breakfast, because Hotel doesn't have the free breakfast. Dennis is good place but need my money for that. Even for that, II will visit again. *^^*”

“The front desk lady was awesome. She gave great directions to get our boys uniforms clean. Also the location was great. The boys walked over and I was able to leisurely get there.”

“Room was FILTHY. No smoke alarm. Room did not have a working phone or TV. WiFi wouldn’t work. Food from someone else left in the fridge in the room. We couldn’t even take our shoes off. Our daughter did and her feet were black from the floor. No hot water in the sink. It was TERRIBLE.”

“I had booked our room through Expedia about 2 months before travel. I booked a queen suite with sofa bed and when we got to the property they said they only had a king suite with sofa bed. The receptionist said it was Expedia's fault because they don't check what rooms the hotel has available. Not sure if that is true or not. Made for a very tight stay for our family of 6 for 5 nights. There was a bunch of hair on the pool deck for 2 days before being cleaned up. Breakfast staff was grouchy and...

“The hotel’s A/C was broken at our check in and we were told it would be back up and running within an hr or two. We had to get ready for my wife’s birthday in a hot room and it caused us to be late to our reservations and threw off our entire evening with our plans. We had to come back from our evening to a humid room and did not get good rest. The A/C was barely working properly the next morning when we had to check out. So overall it wasn’t a pleasant stay. The property did look nice however.”
