"The room had an odor and eventhoufh it’s a landmark building with some renovations, there were not enough outlets, no coffee pot just sat on table nowhere near an outlet to plug up and make coffee. Complimentary water should be available not just $5 bottle in room. The hallways need air freshener. It just gives old vibe overall."

"The hotel and room was pretty standard for a hotel in downtown Chicago. There was water stations on every floor to fill water bottles, the staff was very friendly, and there was self-service check-in & check-out. Only negative was the doors to the rooms were very loud, louder than other hotels I’ve been at and it felt like all hours of the night and early morning people were coming and going with slamming the doors. Sleep wasn’t as great bc of it but not much you can control besides other guests trying to not let the door slam."

"The location cannot be beat! Central to so much! Door men were so welcoming! The only negative was the room was too hot and room thermostat didn't seem to make a difference. A roof top bar would have been nice."

"The hotel is good, great location, great price, great staff, and very clean. The rooms are quite small but the main issue I had was the noise. The walls are so thin you can hear everything going on in the hallways, in adjacent rooms and the floor above and below. If a good night sleep is your priority, I would not book this hotel. I would not stay here again because of this."

"This was my first time staying in a Riu Hotel and I was incredibly impressed. It was super clean, the staff was really helpful, and the breakfast was awesome. Five stars!!"
