"My mom and I decided to do a girl’s trip to Chicago, and River Hotel was one of the best decisions we made. The staff were so friendly, the rooms were clean, and there were plenty of amenities. My mom especially loved the complimentary Nespresso in our room. My only qualm with the hotel was how thin the walls were at our hotel. We could hear the neighbors, though muffled. It’s an older hotel, to be frank. "

"The room was clean but the bed was so hard if felt like you were sleeping on the floor. The mattress did not even give when you sat on it. Did not see any hotel staff around the entire stay except for a maid, a bellman and the security guards that were everywhere, which makes you nervous that they have to have that much security for a hotel. Will not stay at this property again."

"Amazing stay in Chicago! The hotel was in the perfect location and made everything super convenient. The front desk staff were incredibly nice and helpful the entire trip. Would definitely stay here again!"

"The room was small but great value price wise. It’s a nice spot for a couple just visiting for a day or two. The bathroom was really tight but we managed. Only complaint I had was the fact that the heat is controlled for the entire building. It was freezing in the room because they said it was out of season to have the heat on in May (ppl are still wearing coats in Chicago in May lol) but they were nice enough to provide a space heater which made it comfortable! Would stay again."
