"OVERALL: One of the most unique and memorable places I've ever stayed in the world. PROS: Unique design, and each room is different. Comfortable. Great service with friendly, helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast included, with made-to-order eggs. Seating area on the roof with a fantastic view. And an easy walk to the waterfront area, with restaurants and beautiful sunsets over the water. CONS: It's in the middle of a maze of narrow alleyways; we got lost looking for it and didn't feel entirely...

"The boutique hotel was amazing, and the rooms, and common rooms are beautiful.
They are attentive, free minibar for soft drinks, water etc.
My only complaint would be it’s hard to find along small street and impossible to get your car really close.
Parking is not so easy and is off site.
But once you get there, it’s a true experience.
We would stay there again.
Yana at front desk is a wealth of knowledge on the historical aspect of the building and she’s inviting, friendly and all...

"Oh boy, what to say? The owner is very, very nice, and the place is right at the seafront, close to nice restaurants and the main sights in the city (it's a tiny city, though). However, it was very difficult to find, since it doesn't have a sign (is it a legal hospitality accommodation?), the public spaces are filthy and the private rooms, though reasonably clean, worn and in desperate need of renovation. For the adventurous traveller only. "

"Amazing suite tucked away that surprises you with its charming ancient stones and Arabic decor with all necessary modern conveniences. Would definitely recommend if you plan to spend a few days in Akko. "

"This is a beautifully and tastefully restored vintage property. The hosts are welcoming and multilingual. I highly recommend it.
My only minor complaint was that I found it impossible to turn off the air conditioning at night - I don't like to sleep with AC. My solution was to pull out the room card from the power control and turn off the electricity for the room, but that meant we couldn't charge our phones. But that's minor, and I'm sure that if we'd said something the management would have...

"The staff was immeasurably helpful above and beyond my expectations assisting me even with a first aid issue. The room while small was comfortable with good bed and charming atmosphere. The shared area for dining, reading and sitting in garden on ground floor is lovely. "

"Once the property was located, it was easily reachable, and in a nice location close to the beach. The motel is small, as are the rooms, and the owner (very friendly) maintains the property in excellent condition. "

"This is a brand new hotel which is very well located, spotlessly clean. Everything is of good quality and a lot of attention has been put into detail.
The owner goes out of his way to make you feel welcome."

"We enjoyed how the clever architectural layout of our hotel room allowed a room the size of a study to feel like a small 2-bedroom apartment. We appreciated the motorized window shades: they blocked out sunlight and helped keep the room quiet even when windy at night outside. We enjoyed the outdoor seating and lounging areas, and the hotel's proximity to a promenade connecting two beaches and the cable car to Mount Carmel's monastery. Bat Galim had far fewer restaurants than the port's main...

"We had a wonderful experience, with the staff being so friendly and helpful, especially Dara and Carlotta. The Friday night was a superb gourmet experience and fully recommend, please give compliments to the chef. The rooms were very clean, large and very comfortable with a lovely sea view."

"Between the sea breeze and the waves, I met a dedicated host at the German hotel. The place was clean and tidy, and right across the street I found a fish restaurant and children jumping into the cold water. Thanks to Mr. Peter and his charming assistant. Highly recommended!"
"Location was great, close to the heart of the old town. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Balcony looking on to the old city wall was nice. However, the bed had no top sheet - just a bottom sheet and a blanket. We tried to get a sheet of one of the bunk beds, but it was dirty and smelly. Staff provided a top sheet when asked and we fitted it ourselves.
There were no tea or coffee making facilities anywhere. The TV had no channels at all, so was purely for decoration."
