"The Crystal room offered stunning ocean views with a spacious living space. We were in love with the room. Some of the windows need to be replaced as they have fog between the panes, and the French doors were a little challenging to open and close. Windows also had exterior spiderwebs that needed to be cleaned off. Window and door updates would make this spot a 10 out of 10. We will be back again in the future."

"Loved this property and the people working for it. Everyone was so kind and helpful. The breakfast was such a nice amenity. The restaurant on premises is so nice as is the food selection and servers. The grounds are well maintained, Enjoyed seeing the birds and farm animals. Enjoyed the 24 hour tea and coffees. The rooms are so clean with nice linens and super comfortable mattress. This place is truly everything I’d look for in a inn."

"This is one of my favorite places to stay. Lovely, charming, unhurried with beautiful architecture and grounds. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was exactly as I recall it being roughly 12 years ago - spacious, lovingly decorated, attentive details everywhere with luxurious, high quality furnishings. The Madrones is a welcome respite in Anderson Valley and great home base for local wine tasting. The restaurant was still as cozy and intimate as I remembered, with simple but carefully crafted dishes. The dining courtyard could not be more charming. The ambiance is unbeatable at The Madrones and our experience was overwhelmingly positive. (There were a couple of minor areas of improvement: the tv wasn't properly working - but staff provided a half bottle of wine to make up for this - and the large blinds and bathroom ceiling could use dusting/cobweb removal.) All else was spotless and well maintained. I would return again and again and highly recommend The Madrones."
