Holiday Inn Express & Suites Wilmington West - Medical Park by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel staff was very helpful when we identified that the air conditioning was not working. They changed our rooms, although the hotel was fully booked. The rooms could be cleaned better, especially the bathrooms. Overall, it was a nice stay, with a decent breakfast and great staff."
"Loved this hotel. Only issue was the elevator was broken the whole week. But the room was so much larger than anticipated and it’s in a great location."
"The loft was great. Very spacious and clean. The outside areas could have been cleaned of spider webs and debris, but we didn’t spend much time out on the deck or covered porch area bc of it. The amenities were great. Indoor pool was so fun, and lazy river was great. May want to let upcoming guests know to bring a tube for the lazy river. The few rusted areas don’t look the best, but with all the water and age of the facility it would have to be hard to keep it covered. The outdoor pool was great, spacious and clean. We loved the trails, and the access to the beach was very handy. We loved the ability to use the amenities after checkout until 2pm. That made our day fun before a long travel. The local restaurants were great, and having Walmart close by helped with stocking some food to save money from eating out. The greatest part for this mama, was sitting on the dock watching the turtles. I would find things that were safe to feed them, and loved that they would follow you around. There were lots of fish in the pond also. We had a great time and plan to come back."
"Everything was great however, there were no coffee k cups in the room. Only tea. I didn't bring it to the staff's attention, I just went down to th we breakfast area and got a cup."
