“I am so glad i found the FCI for our first trip to the Outer Banks. We really enjoyed our six night stay there during the last week of October. Our room was perfect for us and the yummy hot breakfast every morning was amazing. We chose a historic inn rather than a hotel or airbnb because we like the more personal touch an Inn provides. “Our stay at Cypress Moon Inn was idyllic! The home is close to amenities. Cocooned on a large waterfront lot in a haven of trees, you feel miles away from the bustle. Upon arrival, Linda warmly greeted us and ensured our comfort before offering a dinner suggestion. Ocean Boulevard was a spot-on recommendation! “Room was very clean. Staff was very friendly and very accommodating for a last minute decision to stay and unsure if I would need to stay another night due to a road closing and undetermined reopening. The staff tried to help me figure the status of the road closing keeping me from my home. Very kind”

“We had a pleasant stay. Our room had 2 beds and a sitting area with a full balcony. Continental breakfast had a lot of choices and snacks were always out. I would stay there again.”

“It was very interesting. It’s a big house with different rooms. We all share the kitchen, living room, laundry room, pool and deck area. Overall it was pretty good. One thing that did irritated go get it brought our dog and all you can hear is another dog barking 85% of the time.!”

“We had stayed here under the prior owners. I was disappointed to no longer have a gourmet breakfast, but Chris more than made up for this. He helped me navigate the push-button locks and got me a key fob for our room (just in case). He advised a few breakfast spots (both excellent) and provided us with a clean, comfortable room. We'll definitely stay with him again.”
