"Our room had pretty textured walls and beautiful artwork. The furnishings were also high quality. Its a 3 minute walk to the beach, and within a few minutes drive of a mini-mart, ice cream place, and some restaurants. I couldn't figure out when checkout time was, but another guest told me 11am. Also the doors have # codes on them so you can check in without seeing anyone. But the insides of the doors don't have slide locks, so we were worried about someone being able to enter if they found out...

"This is a no frills motel with an EXCELLENT location. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We rented one with a "kitchenette" that was really more like a closet, but it certainly worked! Having a full sized refrigerator & freezer was worth it. Bar sized sink, 4 burner stove and a microwave. The bathroom is really, really tiny and the shower is quite small, but again, it all worked for us. The other patrons were families, fisher people and people with pets. Everyone was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again."

"My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights over a holiday weekend. Overall, the hotel itself was fine and the room was clean and comfortable. However, shortly after arriving, there was a group near our room that appeared as though they might become disruptive. They had their door wide open, were going in and out, and were already being quite loud. I called the front desk to express concern and was initially told that we could be moved to another room if needed. When I decided, approximately less than 10 minutes later, I would feel more comfortable moving rooms, I was then told that the room that was previously available had been booked online. I completely understand that availability can be limited during busy times, and that yes it’s a holiday weekend and people are going to want to have fun, but what was disappointing was that the staff seemed largely unconcerned about the situation or our experience as guests. A little more empathy and effort to address the concern would have gone a long way. Thankfully, the stay itself ended up being okay overall, but customer service in that moment could have been much better."
