“The beach is just a short walk away. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. Everything was very clean, and compared to other hotels in the same price range, this place offers excellent value for the money. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you to the entire staff for making our trip so enjoyable!”

“Terrible experience. Booked for a family trip. For it's price, it's too expensive. Room was not clean, the floor was very sandy. Seemed like it was not vacuumed or even swept. The hallway to the unit and the unit is outdated and smells bad. Bathroom was small, and bathroom floor broken. AC in the living area and No AC in the room. Was not very happy spending $670 for this 3D2N trip.”

Only reason not 5 star is the older man in a red polo who worked there walking around and staring down guest. Spoke with another person staying and we were making jokes he was staring us down as we had our morning cigarette outside.”

“This place was terrible. The pullout mattress wasn't fit for my dog. They say it sleeps four but the mattress was not only terrible they didn't provide an extra blanket. We arrived about 30mins before the office was supposed to close coming to find out no one operates the office and the phone number didnt work. They didnt proved us a room number or door code to get in. Thank goodness for expedia, It took almost an hr to get my details so we could get in. It was supposed to be a full kitchen but...

“Right across from the beach and perfect for just a short stay”

“I stayed here in the early 1980s, when I was in my early teens. It has been upgraded since then, but still provided that wonderful nostalgic feeling I had when I first visited the Outer Banks! I wanted my kids to experience this as well, so we booked a room for several days. We stayed in a courtyard room, which was still very quiet and comfortable, despite being next to the entrance drive. Unlike most beach motels, parking was NEVER an issue! We always had a spot close to the room. The room...

“Very cute hotel. The beach is only a couple minute walk but you do cross a little road and go up some stairs so plan accordingly if you do plan to bring a wagon. Overall great experience.”

“Pleasantly surprised by how nice the property was maintained. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The bed was a tad high, but I was able to get on it and it was comfortable. We were able to walk across the street for dinner and shopping. We will definitely return.”
