"Our vacation to The Outer Banks was our favorite trip to date. This property was almost perfect, other than that we chose it for the advertised 24 hour sauna, and upon arrival we discovered that although there were 2 saunas, they were the infrared versions and quite small. Also, they are located directly off from the main hallway where all of the other hotel guests are walking and it made it less than relaxing to know that people would be walking by and seeing you. We didn’t end up using them, but that didn’t stop us from having the best time ever!
The property is clean and updated. The King room we had was perfect because it was all the way at the end of the hall nearest to the external staircase and exit. The door traffic could be something that someone would complain about because it can be heard inside the room, but it didn’t bother us. The only thing that we did have an issue with was that we are normally awake very early because we work overnights and sleep in the middle of the day. The breakfast and coffee wasn’t out at 6am other than the day that we checked out. We were able to find coffee at Starbucks across the street and breakfast at Stack ‘Em High down the road where I had the best Greek omelette I’ve ever eaten. We also found Biscuits and Porn and for a gas station deli style place they were the best biscuits hands down! So we weren’t upset by that either. We will def stay here again in the future when we visit OBX"
