The Wilde Resort and Spa

The Wilde Resort and Spa

8/10 Good
"All in all, this is a very good resort. Great location. Very nice room. The fire pits in the outdoor space were excellent. The food at the restaurant was very good. They provided us with a small bottle of prosecco for our anniversary upon arrival, so that was a nice touch. Some things that I didn't love: the pool area felt a bit 'tired'. The decking around the pool was a bit chipped and worn. They closed the pool due to the threat of rain one day (it wasn't actually raining), so I found it a bit odd that we weren't able to use the pool of our choice. And perhaps I should have done more research, but I was not expecting a $45/day resort fee added on top."

"We had a great experience here! I was a little nervous going into it after reading all the reviews talking about timeshare pitches, but we arrived around midnight and were able to quickly check in with no mention! We did receive a call to the room (which we missed because we were out exploring the gorgeous landscape) that said they missed us yesterday and to stop by the lobby for a welcome bag, which I'm pretty sure is when they would have tried to pitch us, so we did not do that. So if you really want to avoid that, just arrive late lol! Overall, though, it's a nice property. Definitely gives more resort vibes than a hotel. Very spacious and clean rooms! For how close the rooms are, we didn't hear anybody else around us once! We were only there for a weekend, so we didn't get to check out the amenities much, but it seems like there were a number of them, including an adults-only pool, which I love. I think the location was great. The drive to more central Sedona was super short, and it was a gorgeous drive, so can't complain about that. Overall, I do think this place is a pretty spectacular bang for your buck if you get it around $100 a night, as we did. I would definitely stay again if I were back in Sedona."

"The room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel was clean and the staff were super helpful. Great location and views! The only thing that we didn’t care for was the restaurant, Salt Rock. Drinks were good, but the food was mid for the price."

"The rooms are standard but clean and functional with a cool retro look. The property has fantastic amenities, like a game room pool jacuzzi. Fire pits coffee bar bar and an excellent kitchen. What makes this property extra special is the staff. In my 54 years I have never received service that was so above and beyond we will be staying here every time we are in Flagstaff"

"The good stuff: Awesome breakfast (best hotel breakfast I've had!), friendly staff, clean spacious rooms, different activities on site each day Good to know: If you have mobility concerns request first floor as no elevators. Smart TVs are not in all rooms as an FYI. One day we were there they were replacing the water heater and this was not well advertised. Overall great place - went with my teenage daughter."
