"Great property, updated with a rustic style. The bed was awesome! Only improvements would be to the hot water heater on the shower as it is hard to regulate the temperature of the water."

Sofitel baru ia a true oasis, you arrive by boat and there are no other resorts - nothing but jungle for miles. We felt like we were on White Lotus lol. The staff is unmatched , attentive & sweet. The resort itself never felt crowded , we would see maybe 4 others groups during the day . Always had loungers at beach or pool. The grounds & the room were to die for , the height of luxury . Would go again and again. "

The housekeeping staff were very professional; they left the room clean every day and were extremely attentive to the guests' needs. The only thing I would have liked to improve was the hotel's facade; painting the outside would have made it look better."
