“Clean room and nice staff”

“This hotel was fantastic. Super clean. The staff was very helpful, especially the staff at the front desk. Speaking very broken Spanish was not a problem as almost everyone can communicate in English. The breakfasts were very tasty and were included - we chose from a menu of about 6 main items. The property is roughly a 10 minute walk from the main street/beach. If we return to this part of Costa Rica, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.”

“Was easy check in, a nice central outdoor shared space with a pool. Only problem was the shower water pressure was very low. Besides that great value for location. Nice fridge, ac worked fine, and everything was clean ”

“We had a wonderful stay at Toro Blanco and would definitely return! The room was clean and spacious with all the necessities. AC worked great, microwave for leftovers and a mini fridge with a working freezer which was great for us since love ice cold water lol The pool was awesome and the hotel is just steps from the beach which was the highlight. Only a few things which would make this a 5 star rating. There were red ants that would make their way into the washroom and on the walls, nothing too...

“Not sure id recommend for single travellers it's on a back street - near a busy bar. i turned the fan on to drown out the street noise. Lots of men hanging around. But you get what you pay for. clean comfortable bed. Basic apartment but fine for just a sleep over”

“This was a great choice for me and my family. We had a great stay. The staff was nice but they could have been more warm and friendly. The rooms themselves were clean and maintained well. I like that it was like an apartment (it had a fridge, microwave, stove top, sink, and plates/cups). The breakfast was good. The location was great for us because we were able to walk to the mall that's nearby and it was a short drive to downtown San Jose.”

“The room was great, well-stocked, very spacious, and the staff were excellent. The only annoying thing was that there was a humidifier that no one told me about that I had to empty myself every day. Apart from that, highly recommend! ”
