“really friendly and accommodating staff. our only issue with our stay was that owing to very hot weather we needed to sleep with the window open to allow cool air to come in off the river. this meant being woken up super early by traffic”

“The room was extremely good and the view over the river amazing. It’s the first time we’ve stayed in a guesthouse where you have a code for the main door, pick up your key and good to go. Didn’t see anyone else. Breakfast was the first time we saw any of the staff, extremely helpful and polite, breakfast was delicious but even though very well cooked the choice was only scrambled egg, sausages, crispy bacon and cooked tomato. Fine for a short stay, but I didn’t want cereal or fresh fruit and...

“Stayed here for one night. Bedroom was very tired with ripped wall/lining paper. Room was hot but a fan was in the room which helped. We had a bath in the room but water rang cold so the relaxing soak didn't happen ! Parking is tight and not many spaces so if you're early you get lucky. Staff were friendly. Was ok for one night. Breakfast was slow.”
