Downtown Covington is very pleasant, with good hospitality outlets. The Germanic area is worth a visit.

Small downtown area has three nice dining areas separated by some distance. Not convenient for walking or driving (parking) and no public transportation to speak of. Safe to walk if you know the area but can move from safe to sketchy.

There are a lot of great locally owned restaurants in Covington, we had some great meals . Love the restored buildings they have made into restaurants.

"Second time at the Pickle Factory one year apart. Excellent hotel and stayed in the themed Cigars & Bourbon room again. Location is great as you’re close to downtown Cincinnati but not in the middle of chaos. It is an Airbnb setup so check-in time is 4PM and the earliest you can enter is 3:30PM. Before that, parking was not available. Overall an excellent, room, hotel, and location. "
