Tälta Lodge, A Bluebird by Lark

"The grounds were beautiful with plenty of places to just hang out. Fire pits at night were a nice touch. There was a cute little porch at the entrance to the room with 2 chairs which we used a lot. My only issue was I had booked a Jr Suite and it was very tiny. No place to put your luggage and the luggage rack was broken. There was a sofa which I guess made it a “suite”. The bathroom was also tiny but had nice towels, robes and toiletries. Also, there is no food except coffee in the morning and they ran out of that. However, across the street was a fantastic family run restaurant, Round Hearth, with a great breakfast."

"This was a quaint inn in beautiful Stowe Vermont. The room was a nice size and opened right to the pool and hot tub. The restaurant at the inn was hopping and delicious with very nice staff. The staff at the hotel were nice but less than helpful as to what was available at the inn and the surroundings. No niceties, just business."

"When you first pull up, it doesn’t look like much. But when you get inside it was very nice. Rooms are nice and clean. It does look like they have been refurbishing the place. Very quaint inside. The only downside to the stay was the length of time it took to get hot water. Other than that it was very nice. Would stay there again."
