“I was turned away and they said they would cancel my reservation due to them not wanting to turn the heat on. If it is not reversed I’ll report them to the police, the local better business bureau and other consumer and law enforcement agencies. I’m former military and college professor of emergency management and homeland security, I’m not putting up with this negligence.”

“We arrived before check-in time, but the young woman at the front desk allowed us to get settled once our room was ready. Knowing that the cleaning staff had just finished our room, we walked in feeling comfortable that everything would be clean and ready for us. The room was quaint with a "cabin" feel--not fancy but we weren't put off by that. The bathroom floor was still wet in spots from just being mopped, but when I wiped up those wet places the bathmat I used came away dirty. It...

“We really liked our stay. It was clean, quiet and safe. Comfy bed and very nice and clean bathroom. Very homey feel. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Would certainly stay there again.”

“This property apparently has new owners and maybe they are working to improve it. If so, they have a long way to go. I did not try breakfast- didm’t trust it. I will say the sheets and towels were decent. The pictures are nothing like the what you will get. They must have been from when the place was in its hey day. I will never go back or recommend it to anyone else.”

“I had a very bad experience at this hotel. The air conditioner was full of dust, and the carpet smelled so bad that it gave me a headache. The bed felt damp and uncomfortable. The only good thing was the staff — they were kind and tried to help. But overall, I do not recommend this place. ”
