"설악산 가기 전에 충분한 사전 조사 없이 방문하여 아쉬움이 남았던 곳이지만, 나름대로 매력도 있었습니다. 당초 설악산 케이블카와 가까울 줄 알았으나 차로 한 시간 정도 걸렸고, 찾아가는 길이 다소 어려웠던 데다 주변에 마땅히 즐길 거리가 없었습니다. 특히 방문 당시 진행되던 모터사이클 레이싱으로 인해 소음이 있어 조용함을 기대한 분들에게는 단점이 될 수 있지만, 주변 하이킹 코스 등 깊은 산속에서 고요하게 자연을 즐기며 휴식을 취하기에는 적당한 산장 같은 분위기였습니다. 무엇보다 위치나 주변 환경의 아쉬움을 달래줄 만큼 아침 식사 뷔페만큼은 아주 만족스러웠습니다"

"속초 여행하면서 묵었던 호텔인데 너무 만족스러워서 남기는 후기입니다! 우선 위치가 정말 사기적이에요. 속초 중앙재래시장과 어시장이 걸어서 10분 거리에 있어서 맛있는 것도 잔뜩 사 먹고 구경 다니기 최고였습니다. 하루 이틀 여유롭게 걸어 다니면서 구경할 곳도 많고, 해수욕장도 다녀올 수 있어서 동선이 정말 편했어요. 묵었던 방은 오션뷰였는데, 앞에 살짝 시야를 가리는 건물이 있긴 해도 아침에 떠오르는 일출(Sunrise)을 볼 수 있어서 뷰를 보는 맛이 쏠쏠했습니다. 그리고 기대를 크게 안 했던 조식이 진짜 대박이었어요. 한식과 양식이 조화롭게 잘 나오는데, 특히 속 편한 각종 국 종류랑 다양한 반찬들이 너무 잘 나와서 돈이 하나도 아깝지 않았습니다. 방도 답답하지 않게 널찍하고, 지하 주차장도 잘 되어 있어서 주차 스트레스가 없었네요. 그리고 꼭 옥상 한번 올라가 보세요! 도시 전체가 내려다보여서 탁 트인 경치 보며 사진 찍기 정말 좋았습니다. 전체적으로 가격 이상의 가치를 하는 훌륭한 호텔이었어요!"

"The property is in a good location. Walking distance to Daiso, a big supermarket, many food options, the beach, and one of the bus stations. The room was clean. Had a separate walk in wardrobe, which was very handy to store luggage away. Has a fridge and a round dining table. There was a small balcony. Large bathroom with separate shower (not a wet room). Full size towels provided. My only criticism is that the bathroom lacks a bench or cupboard. But it's not really that much of a problem. We enjoyed our stay and plan to return."

"We loved our stay at Smiley Resort! We did a girls road trip through South Korea and wanted to see Seoraksan. This place was in a great location for seeing the mountain. It was possible to walk to the national park from the hotel, but the bus stop is right down the street. The owners were so incredibly friendly and welcoming! Immediately we felt at home! I want to come back to Seoraksan to explore more of the hiking trails and would love to come back to Smiley Resort! We wish we could’ve stayed here longer! Everyone was so kind and sweet!"
