The queen suite was extremely hot and uncomfortable. When i alerted the front desk, i was told maintenance was sware and working on the issue. The room NEVER got cool. This was Memorial Day weekend in Dallas with 100° weather. I will NEVER stay here or refer ANYONE to this property again.

We stayed here for a week and it was a great experience. From checking in, to room service, bartenders and entertainment team all of them made our stay memorable. Good food at the restaurants but main buffet could of been better. Just not much of Mexican food options. I would definitely go back.

Property is very dated, and lacks the general amenities normally associated with a 4 star hotel. Staff was great, but room decor/furniture is similar to a bad Best Western. No restaurant/bar. Location is great

The Magnolia was gorgeous inside and out! Very Spacious and clean The front desk workers were just as gorgeous both men and women lol Valet were the sweetest and so helpful! Will be staying there every time I’m in Dallas!

Dresser drawers couldn't open No drawers anywhere else to put clothes in. Front desk failed to give us wakeup call we requested so we could make it to the airport on time. No safe in room. Elevator problems on the weekend. Valet parking was excellent. No restaurant or bar inside hotel. Homeless people just outside hotel.

The location is perfect for a trip to the Majestic and the delightful dining at the Monarch, but this hotel is undergoing renovations so it did not have a restaurant or bar available, though they were listed in the original description. The afternoon/night clerks are adequate but not very knowledgeable about the area and seem kind of “checked out” but it may have simply been an off night. There were several indigents sleeping in the car valet area which is not really safe for them or hotel guests but it may be that Dallas has limited capacity for the less advantaged, so could be the best of a bad lot. The room was fine, but it did not include an iron though curiously it did have an ironing board, so perhaps it had recently gone missing. Bed was ok and pillows were a bit squishy but serviceable enough. Nothing truly atrocious or gross, just not a very high end experience over all.

There less than 24 hours but close to passport office which is what we were Dallas for. Hotel is older but clean. Staff was super attentive and friendly. Rooms were nice and cool. Bed very comfortable. Nice and spacious rooms. Only issue, couldn’t figure out the hot water in the shower in the morning. No time to worry about it. Overall, nice stay. Most affordable option in town for the night so felt it was worth it.

This hotel allowed itself to be completely double booked (turning away 190 booked guests according to them). They handled it extremely poorly, offering nothing in the way of help, and blamed services like Expedia. Cost me hours of hassle and much higher cost to book last minute with many hotels being sold out.

MAGNOLIA HOTEL DALLAS canceled my reservation made through Expedia on my arrival since they were overbooked. This was my first time in Dallas and after 12 hours of travel and work. I made reservations (which t hey had) and I pre-paid. When I arrived they said that since I booked through Expedia, they cancelled my reservation. I could not find another hotel downtown and I had to spend over $300 on Ubers and stay at a 2 star hotel.

Only one elevator working. Rooms need to be repaired . Bathroom vanity, AC, shower, and a smart tv would be something to look into. I understand price I paid is for the area I’m in. But would’ve definitely stayed somewhere nicer for less and would’ve been down to just spend the extra money to Uber to my destination in downtown.

The valet staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The front desk staff were decent. There were no exceptions for an early check in. The hotel had around 26 floors. The worst part of the stay was out of 7 elevators only one was working and there was a limit of 8 people. There was about 15-20 people waiting in line to use the elevator when I arrived. It took several trips before I was able to get to the 22nd floor. My room was clean, quiet and comfortable. It was a great location, walking distance from restaurants and the JFK memorial.

Location is great. Requested four times for room to be cleaned, did not happen our entire 4-night stay. Front desk staff hung up the phone when I was following up on housekeeping. Our room had a kitchen, but barely any kitchen utensils. When I requested for silverware for 2 people, we were given 1 fork, 2 spoons, 1 bread knife--- all mismatched.

Very friendly staff. We had a suite, which was a great layout and a good amount of space. Rooms themselves were a bit tired and could use updating. Great location across the street from AT&T Center and an easy walk to Kay Bailey Convention Center. Note that there are a significant amount of homeless people in the area.

Area was super convenient and central to most parts of downtown. Could easily walk 10-15 minutes and even if we had to take a cab it was no more than 10 minutes to wherever we wanted to go. Lots of homeless people around innocent enough and used to it since we’re from NYC. Just didn’t really expect it lol. Rooms are a little outdated but the receptionist was really nice. Overall good stay.

Beware if you leave an item behind they will steal it. I called immediately after exiting my room and turning in my keys upon realizing I left behind my sunglasses. They informed me there is an online form to fill out and that they found them and would ship them to me at my cost. I thought perfect filled everything out and paid for shipping. My tracking was never sent 2 weeks later I reached out. No response to me or the lost and found company they have. I called daily with no response the mailbox being full. I have worked in hospitality myself for years and never seen Service this bad. I have now spoken with 3 different managers and they all say they will call me back and never do. It has been a wildly frustrating experience to say the least. Beware before booking a stay here.

They don not honor their party bookings. I purchased a two bedroom suite and got a 1 bedroom room. Almost similar to a small studio. They told me third party bookings do not have access to their room inventory and they overbooked. If using third party, don’t go to this hotel.
