"Staff helpful, and we were given a handicapped room without specifically asking for it on reservation. This was very helpful to my wife and was a room with good parking and in corner of the building (102). Breakfast good, although we were forced to make an early Saturday departure before 7:00 AM. Staff helpful with extra pillows quickly on arrival. Only concerns was some dust and dirt around the bedside tables (but nothing of concern for bedbugs), and when we returned early in the afternoon for my wife to rest because of migraine our room had not been cleaned and made up. However, I contacted the housekeeper in that section, and she immediately and graciously came and cleaned the room, replaced towels and made the bed in short order. She did this without any indication to us of being upset with changing her routine and needs to be commended. In the future perhaps priority could be given to multiple stay visits, or perhaps the old sign on the door with "do not disturb" and "please clean now" would help. The only other comment is the single ice machine for the whole complex made for a longer walk, but it was good clean ice and worked well (unlike a previous stay at another location where I saw a roach). We will stay at this motel on our next trip to Mt Airy."
