"You can't beat the location for the price. You're pretty much in the heart of anything you'd want to do in the main hub of Charleston. If you're like me, you'll appreciate being able to park you car on site (there's a fee per day that I can't remember, but it wasn't outrageous) and not having to do valet each time. I find that super convenient as opposed to parking in a garage or further down the road, in case I need something from the car. It was a quick trip for me, as I only stayed 2 nights, so I can't speak for every single amenity offered, but what I did see and use was great. You can't check-in until 3:00, and I arrived early, but I was still able to use the lot to park as I walked around town. They even hurried the check-in process and I got my room early. The AC worked perfectly and was much needed as it was very hot the few days I was there. The AC was pretty loud, so if that bothers you keep that in mind. They mentioned online that they updated the rooms quite a bit, and I have no idea what it was like before, but they are very nice now. I had a King room and it was very spacious. The area with the toilet/shower was a little small as a heads up if that bothers you. Other than that I really had no complaints. I didn't notice any crazy noise issues on the property, but you're right off the busy main streets, so traffic noise and construction noise might occur."
