“A relaxing stay. Lovely team that felt like family. They couldn’t do enough for us. Kerry at reception was exceptional- very professional and knowledgeable. Jo was an absolute gem. The kitchen staff were brilliant. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel made it especially great due to the amenities nearby in the plaza and fuel station. I highly recommend”

“Hoped to stay in old part, not quite the same atmosphere in newer section! Toilet was dirty and mud on floor on arrival. Ordered cheese pasty and got a meat one! Too late to change. Fish and chips were excellent, small portion plenty for each of us. A lovely place to stay, recommend read Daphne DuMauriers book. Great position to explore both coast lines. ”

“Staff helpful and friendly, breakfast was nice and enough choice for us, dinner was really nice and good value and the room was clean but just needed a bit of extra attention in the bathroom. But for the price paid and location we were more than happy.”

“Although our stay was fleeting (just one night) we were made to feel extremely welcome by all of the staff. The room lacked a TV, but actually this was an absolute blessing and it made change not to reach for a remote control. Instead there was a DAB radio which was playing a soothing Classic FM when we entered our rather classy country pub hotel. Everything was to a very high standard in our room. “The staff were great but the rooms were a bit cramped especially the bathrooms. There were problems with television reception breaking up. The hotel is in a nice location and the food was fine.”

“Parking is not available at the hotel, and we did not drive, we were dropped off via taxi at the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable with all the usual amenities. Staff were extremely helpful, food was good and fresh. Nice outdoor seating/eating area, also a cozy sitting area to enjoy a glass of wine. Would definitely book here again.”

“Loved this hotel. We stayed in one of the self catering lodges which was great. Lodge was spacious and had everythigg no we needed travelling with young children. We used the hotel swimming pool and explored the grounds. Great location, easy to park and charge EV and in an excellent location for what we wanted. Staff helped with any query we had. The only thing I’d love to see was a few more condements in the lodge, what would be available if we stayed in the hotel. Will definitely stay again”
