"We pulled in after driving out in the dark and were pleasantly surprised! This is a wonderful property with very friendly staff. It is so convenient to have the store, cafe, pool and hot tub all wrapped into one. We didn’t gamble, we just needed a place to stay. The room was clean and perfect! Breakfast from the cafe was excellent!"

"Great place to stay, the food in the cafe was pretty good for the price. The room was clean, but not having a mini fridge was a surprise, there was no remote for the tv in the room, but one the front desk was informed, someone was there within minutes to program a new remote for us. All in all, I would recommend this hotel"

"This is a delightfully quirky place to stay. Staff were wonderful, informative and helpful. The original owner, sadly deceased, was definitely an eccentric. Those who manage the property today are keen to continue her vision. The property is rundown but that did not detract from the pleasure of being somewhere, at the end of our Death Valley drive, with a bit of character."
