“The tv in the room didn’t work I called reception they said someone was on the way up to the room - they never came Peacock out side the room all night and morning squawking and people running up and down the corridors all night ”

“good golf course, tennis court, rooms and buildings with full of historic scent. 30 minutes drive from Manchester airport. meeting rooms are cozy, but internet access with laptop inconvenient (smartphones are ok). breakfast was excellent and bar serves all kinds of nice cocktail.”

“The staff were very good. the hotel itself could do with a bit of TLC. I just needed a bed to sleep in so was adequate for my needs. if you want a budget friendly hotel to stay in before heading to Manchester airport which is less than 10 minutes away this is the hotel for you. There is free wi fi but I did find it kept dropping the connection every 30 - 50 mins. there is on site paid parking at very reasonable priced, I stayed for 3 nights in the end and total of £21.”

“Amazing break! Staff all friendly. Food in main restaurant was amazing and had a great massage at spa by Hannah. Spa was all lovely and clean and not overcrowded. The only thing was the relaxation room was not open after our massage as we chose the last session. The pastries at breakfast were not worth the calories as a bit stodgy. Other dishes were absolutely amazing. Thanks”
