“good golf course, tennis court, rooms and buildings with full of historic scent. 30 minutes drive from Manchester airport. meeting rooms are cozy, but internet access with laptop inconvenient (smartphones are ok). breakfast was excellent and bar serves all kinds of nice cocktail.”

“Unfortunately we discovered evidence of moth larvae under the bedside cabinets and curtains showing as threadbare carpet. Google AI confirmed larvae infestation. We saw a moth in the room which lead us to investigating. The Housekeeper assured us it was historical as are the cobwebs in the same area. We have discussed this with the Manager and he has given us a partial refund. We were offered a room change but the timing didn't work for us and the hotel was full. Our decision not to move is...

“Surpassed all expectations just about .. My only slight criticism was that the children’s pool access was restricted to 8:30–10:00am, which felt quite limiting. Trying to fit both breakfast and a family swim into that short window and all by 10am made the mornings feel a little rushed. Overall, though, we had a fantastic stay and somewhere we would happily return to.”

“Absolutely amazing stay at the Rookery Hotel. Staff all went above and beyond. Truly exceptional Hotel set in the most amazing grounds. It was my partners birthday and they really went out of there way to make him feel special. The restaurant was beautiful and the food created by some very talented chefs was delicious.
