“Beautifully situated property, helpful kind Staff, the infinity pool was lovely and access to food and drink while in the spa made it feel lovely and relaxing”

“We stayed 1 night and did not use any of the facilities or eat there. The room we stayed in was great. A really comfortable super kibg sized bed, massive wslk in shower, good tea and coffee facilities in our room. It was quiet, so we had a good nights sleep (just what we wanted). I would stay again. ”

“good golf course, tennis court, rooms and buildings with full of historic scent. 30 minutes drive from Manchester airport. meeting rooms are cozy, but internet access with laptop inconvenient (smartphones are ok). breakfast was excellent and bar serves all kinds of nice cocktail.”

“Parking was very easy and staff were amazing. Only thing I would comment on is the room we were in was looking a bit tired and was in need of a deep clean a lot of dust in higher up places and the breakfast should have more options.”

“You get what you pay for! I needed a bed close to the airport for a very early morning flight and that’s exactly what this is. The hotel is very tired and the shower was possibly the worst I have ever had but it was so cheap and it’s location is excellent for the airport and easy parking ”

“This is the second of recent stays we have been in very dated rooms, first visit no hot water and this time the cold water tap on the bath didn't work at all! Spoke to manangement who said we should have called maintenance, however at 7.30am and with 2 dogs who would bark and wake other guests not a considerate option! should have worked in the first place! Manager did suggest he would contact me after we left but so far he has not! Not sure we will stay again now, very disappointing as we have...

“Duvet was soiled and stained. Teacup in the hotel room had chips in it. Staff entered the room early although we had a late checkout. Beds not made properly. Knocking on the door and no one there hotel blamed children for this. Very bland and in need of some tlc”

“Although it was clean the room that I had this time needed some upgrading, for example there was no toilet roll holder, just holes in the wall where it had been, grout was missing between the bathroom floor tiles. The walk from the car park was completely dark and uneven/potholed. That made it unsafe. However, the staff made up for the poor impression that condition of the premises. Very good breakfast and good service.”
