“So when we arrived our room wasn’t ready. Then we had to wait a hour and a half for another room. Then our new room had no air conditioning. We had to use a fan for 5 days. And another thing we was given a room with two queen size beds instead of a king size! The food at the buffet was horrible. However Blue Water grill was very good and the staff was pleasant. The ocean had lots of rocks so make sure you get water shoes. The staff at the bars was nice but some was not to friendly. Thanks”

“Best hotel on the island from the ones I saw during my stay. Big with two beautiful sand beaches and a great infinity pool. Greatest perk was how Avila is walking distance to the main town and amazing restaurants. Loved our room it had a great balcony with a view, super clean, and a beautiful bathroom. We stayed during the Curacao World Cup matches and the atmosphere at the hotel was lively and fun at night and quiet and relaxing during the day. Can’t wait to go back one day!”

“The property is beautifully manicured and well kept. Our interactions with the staff were all positive and friendly. The beach and palapas are maintained nightly. Our room, shower and bathroom were all clean. Would definitely stay again.”

“Very close to Jan Thiel Beach. Walked there most mornings. Very close to the Van der tweel grocery store, also walked there. Lovely patio to hang out on. Easy to park on site.”
