“The hotel and the room are spacious but the coffee maker was out of order which the staff didn't know it was not working...”

“Well, there wasn’t much to like about this property. When you closed the door it didn’t lock, the only way to lock it was to use the dead bolt, this was a problem when you left for dinner and your belongings are in the room. Had the manager look at it, he was able to close the door by slamming it, this wasn’t a light slam, you really had to slam it. He said the maintenance man was off. I’m sure the guests beside us and upstairs didn’t appreciate it. In the morning there was no hot water. The...

“This is a well renovated motel right on the beach. Friendly staff, comfortable beds. I highly recommend it.”

“전망도 좋았고 객실도 가격대비 깔끔했어요. 퇴근시간이 지나서 였는지 체크인을 직원들이 원격으로 하는것에 놀랐어요😁 새로운 경험이여서 신선했어요. 아침조식은 개선이 필요할것 같아요. 조식이 스낵뿐이여서 살짝 당황했어요”

“Not sure how often this is an issue but they were training new staff that day and our wasn’t ready until 7:30ish. Not a huge deal, but if you plan on checking in at 4 you might want to call ahead and let them know what time you’re planning on checking in. The complaints about it being hot don’t make sense to me because truly the ocean breeze does keep it very cool and I didn’t find it to be hot at all.”

“this place is not a typical stay. its a room in a house where the owners live. the room is huge and rustic. it does have a musty odor but that could be from being close to the coast. no tv but for us thats ok. shoud be listed as an airbnb. good value for the price. off the beaten path definitly not for the non adventerous. host very accomidating. i would stay again because the price was right. romantic charm. give it a try!”

“The motel was clean, it was nice parking right in front of the room. It was spacious, although the shower was a little tight. The towels were very thin. The check in was smooth, but if you needed something it was harder to find someone to help you. It was a cute, retro motel, and the history of it was fun, especially since we were there to visit the redwoods. I gave it 4 stars because the beds weren't very comfortable. Other than that, it's great for a one night stay”

“This hotel was super overpriced but so DIRTY. I’ve never wanted to leave a place so bad. There were leaves in the clean sheets and the comforters smelled of smoke even though its was non smoking. The floors looked and felt as if they have never been cleaned.”

“If Moby Dick were sent via Morse Code, that would best describe the constant, low-level noise in room 125 (in the back corner of the property). We asked that they try to figure it out and were told it was coming from some equipment outside and along the back wall of the motel. Other than that, it was fine and as expected for the location and price. Nice to have another bed and pullout for the kids! ”

“It was a good stay overall. As a solo traveler the area felt a little sketchy and I didn’t love the open breezeways. Bed was super comfortable and room was clean. Staff was really nice checking in”

“Tiny room and dirty floors. Mold in the bathroom. Very expensive due to it being the 4th but was not satisfied”
