“Great”

“We absolutely loved our stay. It was out of the business of Edinburgh and very unique to stay in the country side of Edinburgh. Very clean, extremely friendly staff, great breakfasts, tasty dinner at The Hearth, and easy to get in and out of from Edinburgh and neighboring areas like Dunbar and St. Andrews. We also enjoyed to pathway to the Mary Queen of Scots monument and beautiful grounds. We struggled with hot water, but everything else made up for it! Thank you for such a great and memorable...

“The bed was absolutely awful! Collapsed mattress and a collapsed bed base where two pieces of wood had been loosely thrown underneath for a makeshift support! It was SO uncomfortable. The bathroom was clean and refurbished but not even any soap provided. We had to run across to the Lidl supermarket for shower gel. Water was lukewarm and shower head dreadful. Not a very pleasant experience at all, and definitely not worth the £140 room only charge!”

“The staff were wonderful, nothing was too much for them and once I explained the first bedroom I had the first night was too small, as in the bathroom for a large gentleman like myself and the shower too small for me, they changed my room, I still struggled with a single bed, so I would ask for a double bed next time, also be aware, there is a none refundable policy in place, so if did want to cancel in plenty of time, you won't get any money back, just a thought, but again, staff were fantastic...

“아무생각없이 싸다는 이유로만 예약했던 호텔 에딘버러 도착해서 1시간정도를 달려서 도착한듯 했으나 또 택시타고 10분정도를 더 달려서 도착했던...ㅜㅜ 차비만 14.75파운드...딱 첨 봤을땐 외국에 있는 여관같은.. 주변엔 뭐가 없다 조금한 동네에 있는.. 볼게없었음 방은 정말 좁았지만 그래도 깔끔했고 잠은 푹잤다. 앗 이 호텔 조식은 괜찮다. 한번쯤 컨트리사이드를 여행하시려면 추천! 괜찮음......:)”

“Fake tan stains were in the bath from previous guest. Hot water took almost 10mins to come on. Outdoor had a few broken planters and weeds coming through the floor. Kitchen was closed for maintenance so there was no food options until breakfast the next day. I could hear people going in and out their rooms until about 2am and then starting again at 6am. I have stayed previously and was impressed but this time just felt like lack of care was given.”

“The Highland cows were very cute. It would be nice if there was information about the cows, like names and ages. There were weeds in the plant pots in front of the cabin - would be nice if they were flowers! The bed was very soft but that’s just my opinion. The cabin was very quiet and the scenery was wonderful! Parking was easy. Location was good - parked at Newcraighall park and ride and took the train into Edinburgh!”
