“This place calls itself a Yacht Club??? What a Joke!! When we arrived our keys were in lock boxes cause they don't have on site staff after 5pm. The doors do not have dead bolts, slide bars, or chains. We did not feel safe at all. Never been to a hotel that didn't have a dead bolt or chain on their door. The restaurant had a sign on the door "permanently closed". There were no cars at all in the whole parking lot, it seemed like the place was abandoned. There were no other guests there yet room...

“We picked this hotel because they claimed to have a free shuttle to the airport but they are in the process of getting a new one is what we were told at check in. So instead we had to pay $25 for an uber. Overall clean and nice with a nice view.”

“I love small older family owned hotels and this was the best of the best. Wonderful staff and owner, nice room, great pool and it is on a hill looking down onto the riverfront where they have a bait, tackle and gift store with a restaurant inside for breakfast and lunch. We had breakfast there both days, it was very good with homemade biscuits. You can put your boat in right there, and several other restaurants in walking distance. We had a great stay and they have a full coffee pot in each...

“A great old hotel. Very comfortable, spacious room. Quiet, and such a pleasant atmosphere. We stayed two nights and we're sorry to leave. How can you beat staying in a state park lodge? A very good dining room with excellent food and very attentive staff. If you haven't seen or been in the spring, you are really missing something - delightful!”

“We really love this hotel. The location was perfect. The grounds were beautiful. Our room was clean and comfortable. Very quiet. We could watch the sunset in the evening right in front of our room. Waterfront hotel, easy access to everything yet out of the main hubbub of town. Highly recommend this hotel.”
