“This place calls itself a Yacht Club??? What a Joke!! When we arrived our keys were in lock boxes cause they don't have on site staff after 5pm. The doors do not have dead bolts, slide bars, or chains. We did not feel safe at all. Never been to a hotel that didn't have a dead bolt or chain on their door. The restaurant had a sign on the door "permanently closed". There were no cars at all in the whole parking lot, it seemed like the place was abandoned. There were no other guests there yet room...

“I love small older family owned hotels and this was the best of the best. Wonderful staff and owner, nice room, great pool and it is on a hill looking down onto the riverfront where they have a bait, tackle and gift store with a restaurant inside for breakfast and lunch. We had breakfast there both days, it was very good with homemade biscuits. You can put your boat in right there, and several other restaurants in walking distance. We had a great stay and they have a full coffee pot in each...

“Charming property, room very neat and clean but the most important part of a motel room which to me is the bed was like a barn door with a sheet over it, hard as a rock but that's just my opinion, some people may like very hard beds. Also there were several palmetto bugs running around in the room like they owned the place lol. Overall all a good experience and location.”
