“Charming, friendly staff. Comfortable well appointed accommodation, though room in older part of building a little “tired “ in some areas. Excellent choice at breakfast exceeds the norm for this grade of hotel. Shuttle bus to/fro town is a very welcome extra in this hilly location.”

“We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. It has an amazing position overlooking the sea. The staff could not have been more welcoming or more helpful which created a warm atmosphere throughout our stay. Breakfast was varied and delicious.”

“The room has lovely sea views but the carpet is heavily stained and the decor generally quite tired. The room was also incredibly hot despite being offered a fan by the helpful staff. It is a great hindrance that the windows cannot be opened more than a few inches. For a hotel of this reputation and in this price range, air conditioning should be incorporated throughout. “We stayed for a week in September and the hotel is really lovely. Rooms and bathroom were clean and modern. The windows in the rooms only opened a few inches so would have been nice to open them a bit further. Rooms were quiet at night. Nice relaxed bar and large terrace with seating and sea view.
