“It was a clean room on the river, which was amazing. The pool was closed, and did not look like it will be open any time soon. There was coffee in the room, fridge and microwave. The door was not super secure as it was very old. Bed was comfortable. Towels were clean, but old. Overall it was okay, I would stay again. Just be aware that it is not a modern, up to date facility. Location on river is fantastic with a deck overlooking river.”

“Everything was great with two exceptions ice machines should be on every floor, my wife had her shoulder replaced and getting ice on the first floor from the fifth floor was a chore. The AC unit in room works great but air can not be directed and sitting in chair unbearable. sincerely Jeff Southworth room 520”

“Great location, clean room, light breakfast. Perfect for beach stay Staff worked well with us when we needed to add a day on to stay. Didn't have to change rooms.”

“The office was supposed to close at 8pm but Terry stayed a little extra to check in their last guest…me! Thank you for that!!! This Inn is lovely, the rooms surprisingly roomy and well appointed. Small balcony but it had 2 chairs and a water view. Wished I could have stayed longer.”

“Built in the early 1970's, the hotel is showing some age. It has a great location on the beach, and a nice pool with a spa and tiki bar. Aquarium is nearby, and Fort Macon and wild horses at Shackleford Banks aren't too far. Restaurant is a little pricey and has few healthy choices, and there's a service charge if you prefer to pay using a credit card which seems to be common in the area (in my opinion, it would be better to have a set price and offer a discount if you pay with cash rather than...
