“Food on the floor at the main entry door. Hallway carpet smelled like smoke. Got to our room and it had not yet been serviced. Decided not to stay there. Did not get a refund.”

“My room was fine. I did not use the game room nor pool area, but they looked to be in good shape. The breakfast was a 5/10. My biggest turn-off was the number of cigarette butts on the ground outside the front door. Yuk.. I used the restaurant next door, which connects to the lobby. Service there was great, but it took forever to get my meal. When I did, the grilled chicken was good, the rest of the meal was terrible.”

“The bed was comfortable. The shower was very good. We had a one bedroom suite, nicely decorated and plenty of room. Plenty of parking. Breakfast is the main reason fir a lower score. Day one, burned eggs, inedible. Second day, just as bad, plus a second egg dish that looked terrible. Third day we didn't even go down for breakfast . Fourth day, we left the night before and didn't check out until I called from home at 11 am to checkout. I figured I'd have to go round and round with...

“Check-in process was smooth. The room did not have sheets for the pull out couch so we had to ask for those. We also asked for an extra pillow but they were sold out this week and didn’t have anymore. No laundry detergent available for purchase at front desk so walked across the street to get that. Breakfast was good each day. Times that I did have to go to the front desk took a long time for someone to come out”

“This is our favorite place to stay in the Appleton area! It’s always clean and the staff is always very friendly.”

“Such a hidden gem. From the check in to dinner at Nuks Thai we had a wonderful stay. I enjoyed walking by the nearby park and my husband enjoyed fishing in the river.”

“Very loud doors. People are not courteous to close the door behind them so they slam. People not being courteous is not the hotels fault but quieter doors could've been installed. Louder than the average hotel. The floors are very thin as well. Sounded like a marathon above us. It was a full hotel when we were there. Not much sleep. Close to 1:00 am for the people above us to settle down and then doors slamming just after 6:00 am. Very clean, comfortable beds, good staff.”

“My 4 night stay was during EAA's AirVenture, so room prices were very expensive (as they are anywhere near Oshkosh). Perhaps this made my expectations higher. The room was adequate, comfortable and clean. Housekeeping was good. Management knocked on door and asked if we needed anything. Minor opportunities for improvement: The complimentary coffee in the lobby was weak and not worth drinking. The included breakfast was quite limited, and could have been much better. “Very nice place and the beds are very comfortable to sleep on.”

“Trying to save a little on the road trip. Should have just slept in the car. No elevator, fee to use your credit card, run down property, gross bathroom and carpets, thin walls so you hear people talking, walking by, and anytime someone used water. We almost left. Pros: location, easy parking (lol), the room itself didn’t stink, the bed was ok if you held still, TV worked. Stay somewhere else even if it costs double.”
