“Very interesting and quaint property in the woods. Great for nature-lovers. Arrived early, told we couldn't check in yet. Came back. Both times we had to hunt up a staff person not at the desk. Room was spacious (nice). Bathroom was EXTREMELY small, no safety bar in the shower. Bed not comfortable, frame sticks out on the sides. Breakfast very minimal (little biscuits and pre-portioned oatmeal cups) We would not return.”

“Very quick to respond and very helpful with the glitch for streaming on TV! Thr bed was very comfortable and the laundry was great with us traveling on motorcycle! Definitely would stay again!”

“Hotel very convenient to the Dunes State Park and downtown Chesterton. Amenities are somewhat minimalistic, I.e., small soap bars, aged towels, etc. Property also looking a bit aged”

“The only thing I like was the bed size and they are comfortable. When I arrived and walked inside I noticed a guy outside sitting with a bunch of bags who appeared to be homeless. I noticed the lobby looked pretty nice but the hallways were pretty dirty on the carpets. I went down to my room and when I walked in the air was not working I have to push that reset switch then noticed a ice bucket under it for waster dripping I went to get another bucket from front desk and he got it after asking...

“We were on the second floor and the halls and the elevator stunk really bad of musty moldy smell. The beds were clean and comfortable. The room was a good size. It was OK. The pool area was dirty and there were no towels available. We had to ask for towels and because there were no towels people were running from the pool to the elevator dripping wet, which made the hall floors wet and the elevator floor was all wet”

“This place sucks. Long story short, all of the employees and management are absolutely worthless.”

“It was needing a little attention. Our wife now was broken and taped up and our room smelled very mouldy. I wouldn't recommend this place.”

“Our room floor was soaked. The bathroom fan was missing in the cabinet. The shower ceiling had water damage and a huge hole that needed to be patched. The air ran and because the floor wax so wet it was like sleeping in a steam room. For the price. Very disappointed. Put in a room the apparently wasn’t finished being fixed.”

“We immediately found a Bacardi bottle shoved just under the mattress which did bring some cleanliness standards into question. Some mystery splatter on the outside of the tub didn't help the concerns. The room had a swarm of fruit flies throughout it. At one point when my wife went to shower she found a contact lens stuck to her foot. Finally. 40 mins before checkout housekeeping knocked on the door and before even waiting a second started trying to unlock it as i rushed to block the door since...

“It was a good stay in there. They were in a renovation. Except that, things were good”

“Great location. Close to dunes, beaches, pier,marina, fishing, restaurants. With a great restaurant/bar on site. Room was clean and well maintained. Watching the bridge rotate was cool. This is a contactless property and fine by us.”
