“I am very disapointed Hotels.com, how do you recoment such hotel as 4 star hotel? Hotel room was very dirty and smelly. That was my worst memory in my life...”

“Spotlessly clean rooms/ hotel , but noisy Aircon meant I didn't sleep well , even when switched off the fans still active. Breakfast included was fine , the check in staff on Arrival where terrible, unhelpful and argumentative and almost had me paying again for a room id already paid for.”

“I stay here because it’s convenient for when I’m travelling, but I can’t get excited when I stay over. The hotel definitely needs modernising. It is very dated. Artex ceiling, dated bathroom, bedroom furniture old and looks tatty. I decided this time to pay for an upgrade. When I went to my room the bed hadn’t been made and there was a dog’s drinking bowl on the carpet. I was given another room, very plain. No pictures on the wall.”

“Room was very small, and the light in the bathroom were kind of dark small but people at the hotel were very nice and distance from the station was very close. Especially I liked the breakfast. Restaurant was small, but they got a menu and served fantastic dish.”

“Lovely hotel, friendly staff and very clean. Breakfast in the morning was cold though, the food was left in chafing dishes (Bain-Maries) to keep warm and everything was cold, we waited 10 mins in case the food was changed and all they did was add some fresh eggs and sausages to what was left.”

“Just left the Toothless Mog but left a little bitvof outer hearts behind. Absolutely loved this unique B&B and the superb hosts, Rob and Janet. Every aspect if the full English breakfast was of the highest quality and very well cooked, although it requires a good appetite to finish it. Room was spotless and comfortable and of a quirky style unique to this charming place. Looking forward to an early return. 😀”

The owners were incredibly helpful, especially when we let them know we wouldn’t be arriving until midnight — they couldn’t have been more accommodating.
