“We had decided to celebrate our 40th Anniversary on the Cabot Trail, as it is especially beautiful in the Fall. We booked a cabin with ocean views. There were no curtains over the kitchen window, giving the cabin next door a direct line of vision to the bed. The structure was also sinking into the ground on the right hand side, directly below the bed. Our feet were elevated higher than our head, preventing us from sleeping. “Great stay”

“Great views from our balcony, quiet, well, maintain property and just an overall great visit.”

“Was a wonderful spot to stay and exceeded expectations”

“We had a fantastic stay, exactly as advertised. Very friendly owner who was extremely helpful.”

“This was everything we hoped it would be. Unique, private, clean, well equipped as it should be and convenient to the North coast for all the beauty and wilderness it has to offer. Everything worked except for the weather which no one can control. When I come back to Cape Breton, I will be booking Blue Bayou again and well in advance since it will soon be a must for thousands of Cabot Trail visitors throughout the season.”

“Thé friendliness of the staff , the great location and the excellent in house restaurant made this a very enjoyable place to stay.”
