The hotel smelled funny, there wasn’t any bathroom toiletries. The room was very dark. I literally went back home the same night

Pros: Staff greeted me with a smile and friendliness. Check in was quick. The bed was soft and lofty. Double door locks. Cons: The room hair dryer was broken with electric wires and contacts exposed - electicution and fire hazard! Bed has scraped the wall behind the headboard badly. The freezer and refrigerator were not clean and ice covered the bottom of the freezer. No available clothes hangers. One lamp was not plugged in nor could the chord reach an outlet. The plug-ins on the base of the could not hold the plug firmly, so power was not always connected to my device.

Great staff, not so great rooms.

I had to switch rooms 5 times before I could get somewhat comfortable. First room I saw a roach within 5 minutes. Second room I saw at least 5 as soon as I turned on the light. It was extremely late so I decided to stay once the manager went out of his way to get me a room that was decent. But for the price I paid, overall I can't really complain. If they got an exterminator and made sure that it stayed bug free, I would have given 5 stars, simply because the staff was great.
