“Just stayed one night on the way to Edinburgh and it was great! Our room (in the old school house behind the pub) was small but had everything we needed including a very comfortable bed. We had dinner in the pub and the food was fantastic (and great "desert cocktail" too!) Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Excellent stop off!”

“Awful. I had the room downstair. If i knew i have to stay downstair I wouldn't book there. When i asked them to change my room they changed the double room to twin room which is also in the basement but a little more bigger and brighter. However the hotel manager(i don't know for sure) seems unpleasant about that. He said to me that i use two beds even though i am the single person. I didn't get it what he meant exactly but it looks like he doesn't want the twin room used by only one person. I...
