“We received a friendly welcome on arrival and our room was spacious, very clean and styled in a contemporary way. The bathroom fittings were new and had very good lighting. Breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed our stay very much. ”

“Just stayed one night on the way to Edinburgh and it was great! Our room (in the old school house behind the pub) was small but had everything we needed including a very comfortable bed. We had dinner in the pub and the food was fantastic (and great "desert cocktail" too!) Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Excellent stop off!”

“Brilliantly clean room, nice and spacious. Lovely friendly staff. Modern bathrooms. Relaxed atmosphere and very peaceful. The town is really nice with lots of history. Stayed there to attend a wedding at the local Cornhill Castle which is literally just 10 minutes by cab. The Kirkstyle was so convenient. Breakfast was so generous in its portions and superbly cooked. ”

“The room was clean. Their were no staff. There was a self check in / check out procedure which was easy to follow. Other more regular guests were helpful. There was tea/coffee facilities in room. Kitchen facilities meant food I'd brought could be prepared. Enjoyable stay.”
