โThe hotel is a mid-rise brick building that was previously a paint factory. It has stylish decor related to the paint factory. Our king suite had a bedroom area, a separate living area, and a double sink bathroom with a double sized shower with two rain shower fixtures. We paid extra for the breakfast at Palette, the restaurant and it was very good. Parking was an extra $20 per night in the adjacent parking garage. โWe were a bit hesitant that the renovation was not great, but it was beautiful! Clean, nice, tasteful with a nod to the era of the historic hotel and area. Met the owner who was very nice, had a peaceful walk in historic Mansion Hills are, and a very quiet restful night. โ
โThe faculty and room are absolutely gorgeous. I also like that the check in is all online and you donโt have to actually deal with a front desk person. My only complaint is the parking situation. If the garage is all reserved, you have to park off site a few blocks away. The neighborhood isnโt the greatest and I was traveling with a child. โ

โI would like to mention the shuttle driver who drove the hotel shuttle to the airport at 6:30 AM on July 19. He checked my flight at the airport website in advance because it was raining with thunder and found that my flight from Madison to Chicago got canceled.
