When in Durango, this is one of our “go to” places to stay. The rooms are always clean, our granddaughter always enjoys the pool/hot tub, and the breakfast is excellent. For this stay, however, I must mention one of the staff, a lovely young lady named Iris. Iris was very helpful in checking us in on Friday and when our plans changed and we decided to stay an extra night, Iris went beyond being helpful in making sure we had a room for Saturday night (even being apologetic that we had to change rooms - which we were happy to do in order to secure a room for the night). She was so friendly and helpful to us and was just such a pleasant person to talk with. She is definitely an asset to the team!

Hotel breakfast was great for a hotel breakfast, regular refills on eggs and bacon regardless of what time you went down to eat. Rooms were very clean and nothing was worn down. Comfy beds, plenty of pillows. Bathrooms were very clean as well, no dusty grimey corners or old hair or anything. The pool could use a little love, but it was clean and still enjoyable. Great place to stay with kids.

The room was cozy and though the hotel is not at downtown Durango, it is only a 10 min drive. It is a much closer hotel to the airport if that’s a requirement. The breakfast was okay, nothing fancy, just the same food everyday. Overall, we had a quiet stay and would recommend to others to stay as well.
