“The staff were very helpful and kind. The property was part of a farm so there was an unpleasant smell of manure. The room was small and very hot. It would have been useful to have had a fan in the room.”

“This place is truly unique. We were met at reception and shown to the breakfast room and various lounges, then to our room. All had spectacular views. There are tea and coffee making facilities in a kitchen area (as well as in the room) and an honesty bar. All are decorated to a 5-star standard. We ate at the local pub a short walk away along with other residents and had a very pleasant evening. “Lovely hotel and very helpful staff. Excellent food. Disappointed with the spa facilities, certainly not luxury. Massage rooms were in a hut next to the swimming pool. You had to walk behind the reception desk and through the swimming pool to get there. There was no relaxation room. Enjoyed the massage but for the price I had hoped for some luxury and somewhere to lie down and chill afterwards. Also you have to go through the tiny gym to get to the hot tub and if someone is using the treadmill...

“Eins der schönsten Hotels in denen wir je übernachtet haben. Wunderschöner ruhiger Garten, leise Umgebung, abseits der Stadt im Wald. Frühstück nicht sehr umfangreich aber sehr lecker. Leider keine gekochten Eier.”

“There was a good choice of menus for lunch and dinner and plenty of choice for breakfast all cooked to a high standard. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The rooms were exceptionally clean. The only downfall was in the spa area where the steam room was not open and the jacuzzi stopped working on my third day there. Other than that it was so good to be able to use the other facilities. The hotel is also located in a superb setting and is so peaceful!”
